FIRST Robotics Competition

National Space Club Huntsville was thrilled to sponsor The FIRST Robotics Competition at the Von Braun Center.

The FIRST Robotics Competition is a robotics competition that stands for the following: For Inspiration & Recognition of Science & Technology

FIRST provides high school students real-world engineering experience. Students grades 8 through 12 from across the globe work 6 weeks to build a 125-pound robot and compete with other teams.

This year, two teams use remote controls to maneuver their robot and shoot baskets into hoops. Whichever team's robot shoots the most hoops is the winning team. Congratulations to all participants! We love supporting opportunities that promote students to pursue STEM.
