Gabriel advises senior leaders at NASA and the White House on all areas of space policy, including the development of norms of behavior and oversight of commercial entities. He chairs a working group of Artemis Accords signatories on lunar operations and co-leads a NASA-wide space policy network.
Prior to NASA, Gabriel’s work was at the U.S. Department of State, where he was the lead international space lawyer for the Department and headed the U.S. delegation to the COPUOS Legal Subcommittee.
