Lucia Cape is the Senior Vice President of Economic Development & Workforce for the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber. She leads the business recruitment, retention and expansion for Huntsville, Madison and Madison County which includes the Chamber’s workforce development and talent attraction initiatives. She has worked on many large projects since taking the position in 2013, including Mazda-Toyota Manufacturing, Blue Origin, Aerojet Rocketdyne, GE Aviation, Facebook, Polaris, and the FBI’s strategic realignment to Redstone Arsenal. She started at the Chamber in 2006 as Vice President for Workforce and was responsible for leading the community’s workforce recruitment efforts to support the 2005 Base Realignment and Closure which brought 4,700 new jobs to Redstone Arsenal.
