Adam Kobelski is a research astrophysicist at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama. His primary research area is energy transfer through the solar atmosphere. He grew up in Richland, Washington, and obtained bachelor’s degrees in physics and astronomy at the University of Washington in Seattle. Kobelski obtained amaster’s and doctorate degree at Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana, and completed postdoctoral work with the Green Bank Telescope in West Virginia and at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. Before starting his NASA career, he spent time as a research and teaching assistant professor at West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia.
